Word is out: Studio Sandy brightens up your Winter with a brand-new light festival!8 original installations will illuminate the city centre of Zottegem, from 23 till 25 February 2024. Inspired by the grand figure of Lamoraal count of Egmont, we will bring to life the rich local history with modern technologies and a unique soundtrack.

KNAL Lichtparcours
Van 15 tot en met 17 oktober cureer ik een lichtparcour tijdens KNAL, een Leuvens stadsfestival over het ontstaan van de kosmos. Wandel met de nieuwsgierigheid van een ruimtereiziger door het prachtige Abdij van Park en geniet van videomapping, lichtinstallaties en soundscapes.
Video Art for Beazar
“Amazinger”, the opening track to Beazar‘s new EP has just arrived. It offers a cinematic universe
where electronic & acoustic orchestras meet under the guidance of Beazar’s sorrowful trumpet.
In the video art I made for it, I’ve tried to intensify this little piece of melancholy even more.
Sound & Vision – Klarafestival 2021
Do musicians have the last word on the creation of a film, a music video, a digital concert, or do the visual artists have the final say? Klarafestival has created a unique experiment, commissioning four duos, each consisting of a composer and a visual artist, to create a new work. HUSH – Henry’s dream machine
Next season in your favorite theatre: HUSH!
Via a miniature version of an old theatre, we dive into the world of Henry Purcell. While Henry, as an air spirit,
observes the spectacle, a singer opens the gates to the imagination. She whisks you away into dream images that Purcell created for the theatre.
At Work Underwater – Norway
I was asked by SAK Design to make the projected environment for the exhibition ‘At Work Underwater’ in the Norsk Oljemuseum. The expo shows different machines to work underwater, old and new. You can visit it till the end of October.
Essen Light Festival
The work ‘Ukiyo’ was transformed for the church in the centre of Essen, Germany. It’s on display during the Essen Light Festival, from 25 October till 3th of November, which welcomes 370.000 visitors.
YAM Awards for Thelonious
The Young Audiences Music Awards honours creativity and innovation in the field of musical productions for young audiences .
Thelonious wins the Public Choice
Installation at Kunst & Zwalm
BOEM vzw has been organizing Kunst & Zwalm since 1997, a biennial art event in and around Zwalm. The project invites artists to create a new work in situ or to carry out interventions in the landscape and with the residents. For this edition, BOEM is teaming up with the Brussels organization nadine vzw. Both local and Brussels artists are invited to imagine a new landscape.
I will present a video-installation at the Sint-Dionysius church in Roborst.

Projection mapping in ancient crypt
We’re cooking a new projection mapping about the rich and dark history of the city of Ghent. It will be on permanent display in an ancient crypt which you can discover in the centre of the city. In collaboration with Niels Blondeel and Phéline Thierens.
